Shanea Matthews is the Oprah of Accessory Design. She uses creative thinking and past achievements to inspire new ways to communicate exciting, innovative ideas in her designs. Her passion for fashion has allowed her to explore many outlets such as; art, fashion history, and trend look books as inspiration to incorporate into her designs. Shanea recently received a BFA in Accessory Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology. Her commitment to the industry will be to produce top quality designs, on time, and under firm deadlines.
As a self-employed business owner in the beauty industry, she has gained strong communication skills in order to work with customers from all walks of life, as well as fellow hair stylists, to collectively solve problems and achieve goals. Shanea knows how to manage multiple projects and work smoothly with a variety of clients.
Shanea has a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Business Administration. She uses her critical thinking skills to communicate concepts and growth within a brand. She has a strong sense of sharing and encouraging which allows others to transform their ideas around branding concepts which will provide them a sense of direction for their businesses. This is something that continually brings joy to her life.
Shanea currently lives in New York City, and when she isn’t designing or sketching, you can find her promoting, operating, and networking her travel business JSJ Prolific Travels. She enjoys making vacation dreams come true for all family sizes and groups.
Shanea philanthropy commitment for inner city youth is also an important factor for her travel company. JSJ Prolific Travels will donate 10% of every trip purchase on our site to support our youth. Proceeds will be used to purchase a destination space for one of our youth during our annual vacation.Shanea is the founder of "Ticket It Up Youth"was created to promote and improve emotional and spiritual well-being of youth, by providing them with an opportunity to experience various cultures, including exposure to art, music, historical heritage and literary education.
