Shane Devereux

I’m Shane Devereux, a leveraged finance analyst with a background in agribusiness and a strong interest in business, investing, and financial markets. I grew up around West Chester, Pennsylvania, and attended Malvern Prep before continuing my education at Penn State, where I studied agribusiness.

My professional experience has allowed me to explore different sides of business and finance. I interned at MetLife Investment Management and DāSTOR, gaining experience that helped shape my interest in the financial industry. I also worked as a laborer at Quinn Painting Services, which gave me an appreciation for hard work, consistency, and showing up every day.

Outside of work, I live a pretty regimented lifestyle. I enjoy working out, cooking, reading, golfing, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family. I’m also a big sports fan and follow both Philadelphia and Chicago teams.

I’m especially interested in how businesses grow, how people make financial decisions, and how small habits compound over time. Books like The Psychology of Money, Atomic Habits, and Shoe Dog have influenced how I think about money, discipline, risk, persistence, and building long-term success.
