Shanelle Roberson

Currently serving a second year as an Americorps Member with City Year Washington, DC, I am a passionate and motivated young adult interested in decreasing poverty, increasing equality, and promoting self esteem for our children.

I highly value my Americorps service. I see it as a domestic position in which I am serving my country. I have gained an invaluable amount of personal and professional development, met some amazing people (including the President of the United States) and grew my passion for education and learning.
