Shane was born into a family of complete nobodies. He was adopted at a young age, and before that was in foster care. His father was an alcoholic and beat him day and night, his mom was a druggy who was rarely there. But, he knew these weren't his true parents.

Shane was born with dark red eyes, and that's why he was in foster care for so long. The only reason he lived with those two people he called "mom and dad" was because they got money for taking care of him. From a young age, he had sudden urges.
