As an experienced mentor, Shane Stirling is able to provide vision and guidance in order to challenge and develop team members to enhance their strengths and improve overall work performance. Furthermore, Shane Stirling is a successful project manager with experience utilising risk identification and management strategies to ensure optimal outcomes from operational activities. He has an acute understanding of business systems with the ability to design, build, and implement for specific businesses.

Shane currently serves as the HR, HSEQ, & IMS Manager for the Koppens Construction in Cairns, Queensland. At the company, Shane has been vital ensuring health, safety, environment and quality policy.

Shane brings a wealth of life experience from his previous roles in public service and has multiple qualifications in business management, human resources, and investigation. His passion lies in people management and creating efficiencies across the company.

Koppens Construction was established in the 1930s and works in the following construction divisions: commercial and residential land development, road construction, sewer and water services, bulk earthworks, stormwater, kerb and channel, quarries, concrete batching plants and concrete block and sea wall construction. The company recently obtained their third party certification in ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004 and AS4801:2001 and Prequalification in Department of Main Roads procurement system. Shane Stirling must ensure the accreditation of their IMS system so the company can retain these certifications.

Outside of work, Shane Stirling is an avid baseball fan and enjoys spending time with his family.
