Shanfer Bucknor

I am currently employed as a substitute teacher for a local public charter school. I was previously employed as a Social Services Analyst for the Department of Family and Children Services. I am an alumna of Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and current student of the Business Intelligence Master’s Program at Full Sail University.

I currently volunteer as a finance office worker at my church. In this position I have created an accounting database to track offerings and member contributions and create reports by running queries to present requested information. In addition, I have served as a volunteer computer instructor for Shreveport Parks and Recreation (SPAR), where I polled the needs of adult participants and provided lessons in Microsoft Applications to enhance their computer and job skills. I enjoy passing along information to help others become more knowledgeable of the vastly growing trends in technology as an effort to enhance, and ultimately become better at, what they do.
