Artwork for kids and their grownups

I LOVE TO DRAW!! I can never remember a time in my life when I wasn't covered in pastel dust.
My career was commissioned pastel portraits. Now I am pursuing my first love; painting pictures for and about children. Also paintings that tell a story capturing a memory or wistful feeling.
A third generation artist, family members include my grandfather, the nationally recognized muralist, Vincent Maragliotti, (example: Philadelphia capitol dome), Aunt Iris Guarducci, a Pulitzer prize winner in portraits and my mother, Gina Tetzlaff, a prominent New York dress designer and portraitist.
Originally from Bronxville, New York, I am now a resident of Huntington, West Virginia. I established the first portrait and pastel classes at the Huntington Museum of Art where I taught more than 10 years. I am former President of the Tri State Arts Association ( 3 times). I presented extensive lectures and workshops include the Armand Hamer Collection, area school workshops for students and teachers, and various civic groups. I have been juror for numerous exhibitions including the Kentucky state Arts Festival, The Jackson Ohio arts Exhibition among others.
