"Win the day", a quote that Ms Brown strives to live by. In 2011 she graduated from Reidsville High School at the top of her class. During her high school years, she participated in band, cheerleading, softball, the D.R.E.A.M. team and was vice president of the drama club. In addition to school activities, she worked at a local accounting office for three tax seasons and interned at a dentist office for a semester. After receiving her diploma she decided to further her education. Currently she is a junior and at North Carolina Central University, majoring in Chemistry with a concentration in Forensic Science and a minor in Spanish. While being a member of the National Honors Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and holding a part-time job, she maintains a 3.4 GPA. Not only is she a student, but a cadet on scholarship in the Blue Devil/Eagle Army ROTC program. Upon graduation she will commission as a second lieutenant in the National Guard, Army Reserves, or Army- active duty.
