Shanice Green

Greetings! I am Shanice Green a native of Durham, North Carolina. I attain great communication and leadership skills. People have said that I am always the voice of reason, motivating people, and giving advise. Currenty I am a junior at North Carolina Central University. Recently, I have changed my major from Athletic Training to Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentraion Child Development and Family Relations. My greatest aspiration is to one day open a recreational center for the youth, with a primary focus on troubled and at risk youth. Within the next few years, a goal that I plan to obtain is to graduate May 2016 and enter into a graduate program to help further my education. A quote that I live by was written by Eric Thomas, and it states "a legacy isn't based off what you do for yourself, but what you do for others". This particular quote inspires to continue to help and motivate others. I believe the best way to help people is to create selfless acts towards others.
