Shaniqua Schloss

Shaniqua Schloss is 26 years old. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Shaniqua graduated from Sheepshead Bay High School in 2006 and then later attended SUNY College at Old Westbury for her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Social Work in 2010 and obtained her Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth and Families in 2013. Shaniqua is very passionate about children, youth, families and urban communities and hopes to help bring a positive change to her community and the world. Shaniqua currently works full time as a Social Worker for a preventive program in Brooklyn, NY.

For seven years, Shaniqua worked part-time as a Sales Associate and Event Coordinator with Salsberg Group, the mother company of The Prom Company, Afterprom.com, Kiddie Cruise and Affairs Afloat. Shaniqua's passion and knowledge of the event planning industry inspired her to start an event planning company of her own along with her best friend called Vision of Excellence. Vision of Excellence is a full service wedding & event planning company. We specialize in producing modern, chic events that are a vision of excellence despite your budget.

Along with owning her own company and working full time, Shaniqua is a Co-Director of the Brooklyn Chapterof Operation PROM. Operation PROM is 501 c 3 Non-profit, helping less fortunate students across the U.S. - Prom formalwear, scholarships, school supplies & more.

Although Shaniqua is a very busy individual, she still makes time for her family, nephews, godchildren and friends. Shaniqua is very big on family. Shaniqua also values her religion and relationship with God as much as her family. Shaniqua is very active in her local church, Crown Heights: Church of God of Prophecy where she is involved in the Gospel Choir, Children Ministry and Youth Ministry.
