Shani Sambrano, M.Ed. is the Founder and CEO of Marinia Group, Inc. She has over 30 years experience as an educator and 15 years experience as an Applied Behavior Analysis Behavior Interventionist. Additionally, she is a former public school Director of Special Education and Vice Principal.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Loyola Marymount University, she entered the Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential Program at CSU Long Beach where she completed general education teaching methods courses. She then transferred to Grand Canyon University to obtain her first Master’s Degree in Special Education. Through the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) Internship program, she completed student teaching and obtained her Education Specialist Credential. At LACOE, she developed and taught special education curricula including a multisensory Kindergarten Autism Curriculum, First Grade Reading Curriculum, and Upper Elementary Functional Life Skills Curriculum. She then completed an induction program with the Orange County Department of Education to clear her credential.

She has taught general education, special education, RSP, Independent Study, reading intervention and Spanish with experience educating students with and without disabilities in elementary, middle school, and high school. She received Non violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (NCPI) and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) training and has multiple Autism Certificates including a Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) certificate. She has extensive training in Naturalistic Teaching, PECS, TEACCH, Pivotal Response Training, Functional Communication Training, Touch Math, REWARDS, and Lindamood Bell Learning Processes.
