Shanissa Fletcher

My name is Shanissa I'm 18 and I would describe myself as different you never know what to expect from me. I live for the moment and I try to live my life with no "what ifs." I was born on August 12, 1993 in Augusta, Georgia. I pretty much spent my whole life there with my immidiate family until I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina about 6 years ago. I value family and what it stands for, it's the most important thing in my life and it's all you have once you have nothing else. Moving to Charlotte was a huge change because Augusta is A LOT smaller than Charlotte. I started off going to middle school there and it was so awkward cause it was different than what I was normally around. I graduated from South Mecklenburg High School last year and that was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Now I'm here at WSSU in Winston-Salem, North Carloina and I LOVE MY HBCU!!
