Powerful words to live by wouldn't you say! As a professional in higher education, it my passion to advocate for students, especially students of color, to have access to a college degree. For the past 7 years I have been able to assist first-time freshmen get acclimated to college. I enjoy witnessing a student navigate through his or her academic journey and come out on top! My goals for the next 2 years are to transition into a Student Services Professional position and begin an African American Professionals in Higher Education Association Chapter on the West Coast!
