Shannon Bozarth

I have worked in the Beaverton School District for 7 years, however this will be my first year teaching a 2nd/3rd grade blend. This is also my first year at Chehalem Elementary, and although the last minute district-wide transfer took all of us by surprise I keep telling people I feel like I won the lottery! I am so thankful I was placed at Chehalem and am so excited for this school year! I was born in the US but I grew up in Hong Kong. I moved back to the States for University and attended Oregon State University for my undergrade and Pacific University for grad school. Since graduating I have lived and work both locally and internationally. Most recently I was working for a human rights organziation in Cambodia. I love my family, my friends and new adventures. I love to travel and do so as often as possible. When I can't travel physically I allow my love of liternature to take me around the world. I am looking forward to this newest adventure that awaits me at Chehalem! I am looking forward to the year ahead learning and exploring with all my O.W.L.s (Outstanding, Wise Learners)!
