Shannon Goodwin

Shannon Goodwin is an energetic and creative problem solver with strong skills in writing, qualitative research, verbal communication, information technology, and statistical analysis.

She has a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Community & Environmental Planning (CEP) and Geography from the University of Washington. Her research interests include community food security, creative community development, personal cartographies, geography and the law, housing, and sustainable communities.

She has worked with at-risk youth in a Guatemala City Design/Build developing a theraputic garden and outdoor classroom for Camino Seguro.

She collaborated in making a curriculum and film addressing agression in schools for the Safe Schools Coalition.

She has consulted for various non-profits and government departments, developing online presence and social media strategies.

She is proud to have represented the students of Seattle Central as the ASC Executive of Legislative Awareness; and to have engaged in a collaborative mural project with the students of CEP, the University Temple United Methodist Church, and the guests of Rising Out of the Shadows (ROOTS).
