Shannon Barter

Shannon Barter is currently a senior at Temple University where she is pursuing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. From a young age, one might have guessed Shannon would end up in this industry one day as travelling has always been one thing she was quite passionate about. Whether it was planning her family of four's annual vacations, drawing up ideas for new beach resorts, or convincing her parents to purchase an RCI timeshare, Shannon always had an interest in and passion for the Tourism and Hospitality industry. Having grown up in a small town in New Jersey, Shannon chose to study at Temple University due to its location in a large city. Not only is Philadelphia an excellent city to live in and explore, but it is also filled with abundant internship, job, and shadowing opportunities at local hotels, restaurants, airports, convention centers, and stadiums.
