While homeschooling my children years ago, I came to the realization that I really love math. I'm pretty good at it, too! It wasn't always like this. All through high school and college, I let myself believe that I was terrible at math.
Today, I know that I was capable, and I want my own children to know that they, too, are capable.
My blog, Mom Rocks Math, and my math seminars are designed to teach moms and dads how to help their children with math. It's that simple. I want parents to feel strong with their own math skills so that they can be a calm and reliable resource for their children. More than ever, parents are required to "do" homework with their kids. It's not always fun. I hope I can help a little.
