I am a passionate and active member of the event technology community. After working for 5 years with some of the most notable tech giants such as SAP, Blackberry and Sybase in sales and marketing I decided to go back to school and earn my Masters in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo in 2009.
Upon graduation I was inspired to combine my entrepreneurial experience of being an event planner and knowledge in the tech industry by pivoting my career to lead the event strategy at Eventmobi to execute 100+ revenue generating events annually. In 2015, I received PCMA's acclaimed "20 in their 20's" award which recognizes impactful young professionals.
It was at this time I decided to relocate to Vancouver to pursue consulting opportunities as the Director of Sales for Attendease and Conference Software Solutions to help build their brand and industry awareness through international speaking opportunities; expand their corporate client reach through aggressive business development campaigns and close their client feedback loop by translating their event needs to assist in product development.
In 2017 my work was recognized again when I received MPI's Mentor of the Year and Connect Corporate's Top 40 under 40 awards.
I love a challenge and I continue to build my portfolio by working with passionate startups to help them anywhere along the spectrum of ideation to commercialization.
