Shannon is a social and digital media strategist with nearly 10 of professional marketing and communications experience in a variety of industries. Most recently, she was the Deputy Digital Director for the Hillary Clinton campaign in Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining the Hillary Clinton campaign, Shannon was a social media consultant for Don't Panic Management, providing clients social media strategy and management services.
Shannon is passionate about driving innovation and building community in digital mediums for brands, non-profits, and for social good. She volunteered with President Barack Obama's Digital team in Ohio and was part of the efforts in Hamilton County (Cincinnati) that tipped the election in the President's favor. Shannon also volunteers her time as a Digital Disaster volunteer with the Red Cross' Social Engagement team, assisting with digital monitoring and engagement during disaster and crisis situations.
Shannon graduated from Duquesne University with undergraduate degrees in Communication Studies and Psychology. She went on to complete her Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.
