Shannon Gunawan

I am a volunteer at Vivo Pharmacy in Northwell Health and a student currently living in New York City. My interests range from entrepreneurship to dance. I am also interested in cooking, singing, and reading.

I participated in a work-place project within a summer program offered by the city. Within this experience I had a chance to collaborate with students my age to address an issue faced by the society today. From this experience I have been able to enhance my leadership skills as well as use strategic thinking to properly address the issue and come up with a solution that will benefit the elderly facing struggles due to the need of social-distancing during the pandemic.

I hope to be able to participate in larger projects in the future and be able to bring more ideas to life in order to create a better world to live in.
