Shannon Kobylarczyk
Former Associate General Counsel in Milwaukee, WI, USA
I’m Shannon Kobylarczyk, a Wisconsin native who has always been guided by strong Midwestern values, a deep love for family, and a commitment to perseverance. I grew up in Green Bay in a lively family of five children—three of whom were adopted—which taught me early the importance of empathy, resilience, and supporting the people around me. Sports, reading, and being part of a close-knit community shaped much of who I am.
After earning my accounting degree from St. Norbert College, I spent 15 years in the field before pursuing a lifelong dream of becoming an attorney. I attended Marquette University Law School part-time while working full-time and raising two young sons. My oldest was diagnosed with a brain tumor on my very first day of classes, a moment that strengthened my determination and deepened my gratitude for my family’s support. I ultimately built a career in securities, corporate governance, ethics, and compliance, eventually serving in senior legal leadership.
My journey has also taught me the importance of mental health and recognizing when life demands reflection and renewal. Today, I prioritize family, wellness, travel, fitness, reading, and baking—especially cupcakes. I’m focused on creating a life rooted in authenticity, gratitude, and continued growth.
