Shannon Loos

I am a writer and future teacher. I am currently attending University of Missouri- Saint Louis for my Bachelor's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English. I just started my practicum 2 at Oakville High School and I love it! The students and teachers there are amazing! I have two adorable dogs and a fiance who I cannot wait to marry. In my spare time you will find me with a book in my hand or a movie on my TV. I also love cooking and am always up to try a new recipe.

I believe that reading and writing is the core of an education. I am passionate about teaching students literature and writing. I also think it is important to help every student find their own identity. They are our future and I can only hope that I can strive to be similar to the teachers I have met through my career as a student.
