I am an award-winning Canadian television and radio talk show host, keynote speaker and writer.

In June 2015, I created the Shannon Skinner Live radio show on VoiceAmerica Women.

I am the author of The Whispering Heart: Your Inner Guide to Creativity, and a regular contributing writer to the Huffington Post, Infinity Magazine, and other publications. I cover a variety of topics, including change, inspiration, feminine leadership and travel.

As an actor, my latest role is in Motives & Murders (TV Series, 2014, principal role).

I am the recipient of the University of Saskatchewan's College of Arts & Science's Alumni of Influence Award 2014.

I studied creative writing at the University of Oxford and film studies at Ryerson University, and received my BA from the University of Saskatchewan.
