A financial coach, business owner, philanthropist, and soon-to-be published author, Shannon is the epitome of hard work and selfless sacrifices. She is also the co-founder of Your Financial Lane, Inc. (YFL), a personal financial resource that helps members reach their financial goals through simple and effective methods all while having fun.

Born in Central Florida as the youngest of ten children to Haitian immigrants, Shannon has made it her life’s mission to help change people’s relationship with money. Shannon has over seven years of personal finance and teaching/coaching experience. She first began by hosting and teaching financial seminars to her classmates out of her dorm room at Florida State University, which led her to earning the title of youngest licensed real estate associate at Prudential Real Estate at the age of nineteen.

Never shying away from public service, Shannon is devoted to financial education. She has served as a United Way’s Money Up Program Volunteer (a program that aids lower income families with tax returns and financial coaching), a NYC Office of Financial Empowerment Volunteer, a DREAM Mentor (a program that develops high school students’ knowledge of personal finance and investing), Investing in Your Future Instructor (a financial literacy course), and has devoted over 500 community service hours with the Salvation Army.

In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Shannon also works at KPMG where she serves as a Financial Risk Management Consultant for financial clients across the U.S. Prior to KMPG, Shannon was a Senior Examiner at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and a participant of GE Capital’s intensive global Financial Rotational Management Program.
