Shantanu Panse

"Music is a source of eternal peace and joy which I always love to share with listeners" - says Shantanu.

Shantanu was born on 14 September 1987 in a musically rich family. Shantanu’s parents noticed Shantanu's interest in music and decided to start teaching him. Shantanu was God gifted with an intense ‘Sur’ and ‘Taal’sense. He grasped the detailed nuances of music grammar with ease. Shantanu has been very fortunate to have his father as his Guru too.

Shantanu started learning classical music from Shri.Pushkar Lele (disciple of Pt.Satyasheel Deshpande, Pt.Vijay Sardeshmukh and Pt.Vijay Koperkar) who introduced him to never ending ocean of music. Later Shantanu started learning classical music from Pt. Mukund Marathe who is now giving him the "Talim" of singing and presentations.

Shantanu also have received valuable training of gazals from Pt.Hrishikesh Mahale (disciple of Shri.Anup Jalota). Shantanu also have shared stage with Pt.Mahale many times. Shantanu's father Shri.Shirish Panse, himslef a noted gazal writer and poet who has worked with many gazal artists and have given gazal performances give Shantanu excellent knowledge of gazal.

With good knowledge of classical music , Shantanu presents Natyasangeet, Bhavgeet, Bhaktigeet, Abhanga ,Bhajan, Thumri and other semi-classical and folk forms.

Shantanu have done more than 600 programs till date all over Maharashtra. He is now working with new music directors as well. Shantanu havde designed his own thematic programs too.

Pune aakashwani, Radio city have broadcasted Shantanu's music programs. Shantanu have sung for ads, marathi and hindi dramas.
