Shante Floyd

I was born and raised in the independent city of Brooklyn, New York. A place where diverse cultures blooms, independent art scenes are the way of life, and unique architectural heritages adds to the melting pot. During my junior and high school years, I was encourage to go above and beyond in my educational and extracurricular projects and that is exactly how I continue to live my life. After graduating from MEC Middle College H.S, I decided to serve my country by in-listing in the United States Army. Throughout my time at Camp Red Cloud (2nd ID regiment), I had the opportunity to travel across the world and live in interesting places like South Korea.

Three years after joining the Armed Forces, I was blessed with a beautiful daughter named Breyonna. It was during this time, I made the decision to leave the Army. It was not an easy decision but the right one because the struggle between every call of duty and my baby’s welfare became overwhelming and at sometimes unbearable. In my search for a stable life and a brighter future for both me and my daughter, I moved back to New York and enrolled in Medgar Evers College. Currently, I am completing a B.S Business Administration degree. It is here, I found great fulfillment and a peaked interest in Advertising and Marketing. My studies have led me to a new passion, one that is filled of creativity and ingenuity.

With hard work and determination, I plan on blazing a new trail in the Advertising Industry as I continue to create with my mind and deliver with my soul.
