Shantel is a Philly native who spent her adolescent years moving from state to state. She attended Kent State University and became the first Head of Minority Affairs for PRIDE, a campus collective for LGBTQ+ and allies. She now resides in Columbus and is a content creator, published author, clothing brand creator, digital brand designer & is a Life, Romance and Intimacy Coach . Although her background includes over 10+ years of Travel & Hospitality. Her soul awakens when she's painting, drinking a sweet red and vibing to Motown or 90's R&B. She's creative, compassionate and transparent. In her daily life she is the resourceful and nurturing friend that always wants to know you made it home safely. Identifying as a black lesbian, she often felt the negative end of peoples emotions and expectations. As many black women were, she was taught from a young age to put other peoples fragility before her own personal and mental health. Watching her mother deal with depression and dealing with PTSD herself -- she realized what was taught was no longer acceptable. Her empath abilities and resourcefulness has always pushed her to the front lines. As the big sister to two boys, she has always been invested in breaking generational curses through knowledge of self . Through the challenges of life and mental illness, Shantel decided to take control of her life and learn the tools necessary to thrive and live comfortably in her essence. She now spends her days doing what she loves... coaching individuals in ways to enjoy their best life.
