Greetings, I’m Shanti. I’m a journalist/ creative writer living in Hyderabad. I am a fan of reading, writing, and music.

I have an overall work experience of 20+ years across fields, including journalism, creative writing, editing, teaching and training, people management, knowledge management, and project management.

I have been a recipient of VP Award at Google for excellent project management skills for the automation project that I led.

In 2022, on International Women's Day I have also been felicitated by the Government of Telangana for 'Outstanding Work while upholding rich ethical standards and neutrality in the
field of journalism.'

I have a Master’s degree in English Literature and expertise in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Teams. I'm also familiar with Slack, Airmeet, Wordpress and Canva.

My keen interest in learning new things had driven me to overcome age barriers and pursue a course on ‘Introduction to Ancient Egypt and Its Civilization’, offered by Mr. David P. Silverman of University of Pennsylvania, on Coursera.

I have also been leaning Spanish on Duolingo for the past 490+ days. My love for music pushed me to pursue Carnatic classical songs, which I began learning a year ago.

I am an avid learner and can quickly adapt to new environments and situations.
