Sharath came on to this earth like everyone with a sound of crying in 1985 in INDIA.

Sharath studied [ BFA ]Bachelor of Fine Arts Photography & Visual Communication & [ MFA ] Master of Fine Arts Photography & Media Communication from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad,India in 2010 and 2019 respectively.

Sharath moved to Mumbai in mid 2010 & did Internship with Eminent Photographer Suresh Natarajan. After Internship, He came back to Hyderabad in the end of 2010 and started doing Cinematography Projects & started shooting Portrait Stories.

With a particular love for Black and White imagery and a narrative perspective to a lot of his work, his approach to photography is essentially that of a portrait photographer.
Whether they are Documentary, Portraiture, it is always the human element that is the focal point of his work.

While, his pared-down aesthetic sensibilities are reflected in his portraits, he also draws a lot of inspiration from nature and the works of musicians,artists,
cinematographers which in turn, he seeks to reflect in his photo stories.

Sharath founded Friday Studio and Sketchbook Films.

He is currently based in Hyderabad,India.
