Sharen Groppell

I’m Sharen Groppell, Executive Vice President at Marsh McLennan Agency in Houston, Texas. With over 30 years of experience in insurance and risk management, I lead the Construction and Surety divisions, helping businesses tackle complex challenges with customized solutions. My career began at Lockton Companies, and my time as COO at Elsey & Associates provided invaluable leadership experience before successfully selling the company in 2013.

Outside of my career, I’m a proud mom to two incredible sons, Garrett and Gregory, who inspire me every day. Balancing a high-stakes career with a fulfilling personal life is a priority for me. Whether mentoring future industry leaders or exploring the great outdoors, I find purpose in staying true to my values and passions.
