– this quote from Chester Barnard is the opening quote from my MBS thesis on Entrepreneurship which I wrote over 15 years ago. Since then I have tried and failed at some things, learnt the lesson, tried again and succeeded.

These include receiving a first class honour for my thesis after suffering a serious head injury. I bought my first house and then spent 9 weeks hiking in USA where I kayaked the white water rapids of the Colorado River and watched the sun come up over the Grand Canyon.

I thrive on being first and have been awarded top achiever many times in very competitive sales environments; I have been head hunted and re hired. I have run my own business, qualified as a business coach & created a mobile modular training course; when this lesson taught me that my strengths lay working in a team environment the next route was to return to the corporate world. I have worked with Ad agencies, Corporates and SME business owners. I have the ability to resonate with their business challenges and will work tirelessly to help them achieve their goals.

I chair my local residents association thus working in my community to make it a better place for us all to live. I like to travel, to read and to hike a mountain with family and have a glass of wine with friends.

My next challenge is to complete my Post Grad in Digital Marketing and progress my career in this direction, whilst working full time and being a Mum... piece of cake to me because I will try,(fail - unlikely), I will learn and I will succeed.
