I was born and raised in So Cal. I love the beauty of California beaches, but nothing beats a vacation to Hawaii. Well maybe a vacation to the Maldives (smile). I lived in Hawaii for a year last year and loved it and hated it. The things I loved were the fresh sushi and sashimi, the beautiful beaches, the fresh island fruits, the sunsets, the weather, and the endless activities. What I absolutely hated, the medical care and lack of decent hospitals, the drastic difference between the way the locals lived and the newbies like us on the island. The opporunities for business are very very limited. After about six months I started to get bored. Very sad but true.
