Shari Garrison

I am a graduate student studying Zoology at Miami University with on-site learning at Denver Zoo. During the course of this program I have become deeply interested in community conservation and engaging locial communities in volunteer programs such as citizen science.

I have been working in the telecommunications industry for the past 25 years, but animals and conservation have always been my passion. When the opportunity came up for me to pursue my Master's degree, I decided to take on the challenge.

I'm a native of Colorado, and enjoy spending time with my family exploring what this beautiful state has to offer through hiking, biking and camping.
