Suryamita Harindrari

Born in 1986 and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. Received a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Indonesia in 2007 and spent five years working for a global IT and Management consulting firm as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consultant with focus on Finance business processes for multinational clients based in Jakarta and Singapore. In 2011, my friends and I co-founded a startup named Ratimaya.com, a web consortia of Indonesian young local designers. Albeit it lasted only for two years, I forever see it as a great learning experience.

In 2012, I decided to take the opportunity to continue my studies with Erasmus Mundus Information Technologies for Business Intelligence Master's program which allowed me to study and travel across Europe. After spending my first and second semester in Belgium and France, consecutively, I relocated to Berlin, Germany to finish my third semester and Master's thesis at the Technische Universität Berlin with research focus on Big Data Analytics. After getting my Master's in Computer Science, I made a career change towards Data Analytics and currently work for a Berlin startup specializing in Data Management Platform as a Data Analyst where I get my hands on big data projects.

I am interested in community development projects and my biggest dream is to make the world a better place through technology. I welcome any opportunity to contribute in voluntary projects. I enjoy sports (running), traveling, music, reading, writing, coding (the more I practice, the more I like it), and coffee.
