Sharmishtha Gupta
mental health counselor and Psychotherapist in Singapore
I am a graduate from Teachers College, Columbia University, with an Ed.M. and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling. I provide individual counseling and coaching in my private practice.
I have a passion for working with clients who may be dealing with relationship and identity issues, whether it be race/ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, culture, and/or immigration status. I grew up in a multicultural environment, and identify as an (A)TCK. My own experiences have shown me that I want to help others learn to adapt and adjust through all of life's difficult transitions.
I want to help clients, wherever they are in the world, to feel a sense of safety, non judgment, validation, empowerment, self-awareness, and self-acceptance that can better foster change, awareness, and growth. I aim to provide a safe, calm environment that allows us to form a genuine relationship, collaborate on mutual goals, and identify the barriers keeping you from living your most fulfilling life.
