Sharna Sammy

I'm a qualified graphic designer specialising in book design. With 8 years working experience in book publishing at Oxford Univeristy Press. I started freelancing beginning 2013. All in all I have 16 years working within the design field. Born in Cape Town and still loving this city, one of my many other loves are: cooking, gardening, reading, good coffee, and chocolate. Most of all, I LOVE the work I do.

As a freelancer, I've had to teach myself many things including what it means to run a business from home. I'm learning about epub, good use of typography (because you can never learn enough about this!), what it means to be a writer, and how to find work so it can sustain and fuel your personal projects. Moving forward. Gaining momentum is crucial to any business nowadays. Hard as it may be, its still the most challenging and yet rewarding job I've ever had.
