“Only God Can Judge Me” is a favorite all time quote of mine. I believe everyone judges someone or something everyday unknowingly. But it is a favorite quote of mine because my heart and passion is helping those who have been wrongly judged by the law; especially when it is because of their lack of knowledge or lack of finances. I strive for a career with “The Innocence Project,” because of my favorite quote. The Innocence Project is a group of lawyers and forensic scientists that performs research to those that have been incarcerated because of something they did not do. I received my Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice/Latent Evidence from Wake Technical Community College, May of 2017. I did not take a break in my studies and continued to take classes after graduating from Wake Technical Community college in the summer of 2017; because I believe time waits for no one. I then transferred to North Carolina Central University; where I am currently a student. I am currently going to school for my Bachelor’s in Political Science; and I do not plan to stop there. I plan on attending North Carolina Central Law School for my Juris Doctor Degree. In the meantime, I am looking forward to an internship with a non-profit organization; such as “Interact,” “Legal Aid,” and possibly The Innocence Project. My passion is to give back to the community by helping those wrongfully convicted. I do not care about the money because I rather love what I do than live rich and miserable.
