Self employed Digital Campaign Consultant, specializing in government social media operations and digital diplomacy. Check out my blog Digindip.com - dedicated to digital diplomacy.
As the deputy managing director of New Family Organization in Israel, I oversaw the implementation of media strategies and formulated social media and public engagement campaigns.
Known for my work as Director of Public Affairs & Social Media at the Consulate General of Israel in Philadelphia, I focused on providing communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States with information about Israel though creative outreach, reaching various and diverse communities, local government, student groups and organizations, showcasing the many different aspects of Israel through lectures, seminars, discussions, events and of course, using and managing numerous social media platforms.
With Israel in the center of my work, I gained recognition as a leading professional in the digital diplomacy world through blogging, training, consulting, and lecturing on countless occasions to a variety of audiences.
Prior to this position, I served almost 9 years in the Israel Defense Forces, reaching the rank of Major.
I was fortunate to hold various positions in the IDF, including commander and instructor in the IDF’s first joint (men & women) officers training course, Head of The Ground Forces Selection & Classification Desk, Head of Combat Personnel Section, Artillery Corps and Chief Training & Education Officer for The strategic Planning & Foreign Relations Division. In 2009, I headed the Operations Desk of the IDF Spokesperson's Division, where I helped to oversee and enforce a number of military strategies and operations. Today, I continue to serve as a reservist, training the military’s diplomatic staff from NCO’s and up to high-ranking military attachés.
