Hello, I’m Sharon.

This is me.

I am just a peace-loving human being.

I am living my life...choosing quality over quantity...

When I sit with you, I will not constantly play with my phone... I will give you quality time... it is quite valuable.

I don't spend time on social media... by choice

I don't use twitter and never have, by choice

I am passionate about EVERYTHING I do.

I used make my living as a regulatory consultant for medical device developers and am still an external VP Regulatory and Clinical at GI View Ltd., a company that developed new medical device technology for the detection of colorectal cancer.

But then in my late 50's I changed my mind about my career and persued my 40 year dream of becoming a tour guide. It is my true passion.

But I did not stop there. Today I am a licensed tour guide, certified off roading (4x4) guide, certified hiking & nature guide/teacherand certified ODT facilitator.

I used to say my profession does not define who I am, rather how I make a living. But today, I am not so sure.

I am a person who loves to sing and dance and hike.... I love the wide expanses of the great outdoors and all animals (I consider myself a dog person and not a cat person, but I like cats too... and frogs and lizards and cows and chickens and fishes.... ah the list goes on and on) and plants that populate it.

I love to sit at the top of a cliff and watch the sunrise... don't even ask what time I had to get up in order to get to the top of the cliff for sunrise :)

I love to help others... I suffer a severe case of empathy for almost any living creature I come in contact with.

I have seen much in my lifetime... sorrow, pain, anger, war, peace, poverty, good and poor health, joy, love....

I choose life, a full experiential, out of my comfort zone, challenging life filled with personal and shared accomplishments. We all live together on this 3rd rock, we need to work together.

I choose to believe in the goodness of people (most people are good) and to spread the love.
