Sharon McKay

Segovia, Spain

Having traveled across the globe from a very early age, I have experienced first hand a variety of cultures that have expanded my horizons and allowed me to develop a truly international background. I have lived in several different countries around the world including, Mexico, Venezuela, France, the United States, Italy, Dubai, and Spain. Living for no more than three years in a single place up until my tenth birthday has taught me how to adapt and deal with sudden change. The exposure to different cultures and languages has helped grow my interests towards Communications, the bachelor I am currently studying. Multiculturalism is a large aspect in both the communications world and my own world, thus I feel ready to thrive in an internationally abstract environment. Because of my diverse international background, it is difficult for me to choose a single place I would want to live in for my job - thus my versatility and flexibility should serve as an important attribute when choosing my future geographical area. As I am still in first year at University, the industry that I would like to work in in the future is still undecided, but it should definitely revolved around my interests. Although it is still too soon to decide, I would be leaning more towards the journalism professional working area.
