Sharon Bloom

I'm a painter and photographer trapped in the body of a working person. At least I work in Albuquerque, and I feel my job is slowly contributing to the betterment of society. It could be worse. My passion is art, and I specialize in encaustic painting - that's painting with beeswax as a medium. It's an old technique that produces unique luminous results. I give workshops for artists of all levels who want to learn to work with this medium.

I'm a member of The Encaustic Art Institute, International Encaustic Artists, and the Enchanted Lens Camera Club.
