Sharon Whyte

Sharon hails from a military family that has lived all over the globe. Born in Kansas, she has lived in 8 different states, and 3 European countries and continues to travel and teach workshops in scenic places.

She received her BFA and MA from Kansas University, and an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Art. She has won numerous awards in Europe and at home, taught in private schools, European and American Universities and art centers before settling in the Pacific Northwest close to family.. An accomplished studio artist, she also teaches for Clark College in Vancouver, Washington and conducts Plein Air Workshops and Corporate Team Building Retreats. Sharon specializes in painting beautiful natural settings incorporating light, air, and an impressionist’s touch.
