Shashank Shri Tripathi is an Advocate practising primarily before the Supreme Court of India, with appearances before the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Over the course of his practice, he has been involved in several high-stakes and complex legal matters across diverse areas of law.

An independent litigator, legal researcher, and meticulous drafter, his practice is focused on Constitutional Law, Public Interest Litigation (PIL), and Criminal Law. He has a particular interest in examining the constitutional validity of Ordinances, Acts, Rules, and other legislative and executive actions of State authorities. His work is driven by a commitment to strengthening constitutional governance and ensuring faithful implementation of the rule of law.

Mr. Tripathi aspires to make meaningful contributions to the development and enforcement of constitutional jurisprudence, particularly in matters concerning education and labour laws, where he seeks to advance public interest through strategic litigation and legal research.

Since enrolling as an Advocate, he has been actively practising before the Supreme Court of India and has represented clients before various judicial and specialised forums, including the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, the High Court of Delhi, the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT), the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), the Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT), and other statutory authorities.

His legal interests also extend to international law and institutional reform. He has proposed, through a formal representation, initiating proceedings before the International Court of Justice to examine the legality of the veto power and the permanent membership of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. The proposal advocated an interpretation of the foundational principles of the United Nations Charter, with particular reference to its Preamble, Purposes, and Principles, in the context of its constitutional framework.

With a research-oriented approach, strong drafting skills, and a commitment to constitutional values, Mr. Tripathi continues to pursue legal practice that combines rigorous advocacy with broader public interest objectives.
