Shashi Doni

Shashishekhar (Shashi) Doni, the founder of Conscientia Consulting, is a well-seasoned IT architect who has been in the financial and technology industry for over 20 years.

He currently manages Conscientia Consulting while simultaneously working as a portfolio manager and CTO at a boutique firm in New York City.

At Conscientia, they help startups by designing, developing, and managing financial applications that will help meet their business needs and improve their services.

Throughout his career and before opening the boutique consulting firm, Shashi has gained extensive knowledge and experience by working with several esteemed companies including Bloomberg, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital, and BNP Paribas.

As an IT professional, he always takes advantage of the most advanced technologies in order to provide his clients with high-performing applications while reducing implementation time. And with proper consultation with clients, Shashi is able to develop applications that bring improvement to businesses’ productivity, management of teams, and quality of service or products.

Education

With excellent training and education during his younger years, Shashi was able to see his career direction clearly and follow the steps that will lead him to reach his goals.

The Government of India awarded him with a National Merit Scholarship in 1993. Five years after, he graduated BE Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Mysore in India.

In the following years, he continued studying and earned MS in Mathematics and Computer Science and MS in Polymer Engineering from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.

Aside from earning two master’s degrees, Shashi has also been recognized as an Outstanding Teaching Assistant at the University of Akron.
