Shashi Vijay

I started VJ Law Firm in 2011 with the vision of helping individuals and small-businesses in the Seattle area with their legal needs. I have over eight years of legal experience in Washington state and have counseled clients in the areas of bankruptcy, business formation, real estate, estate planning and family law.

I am the current Chair of Business Law section and Vice-Chair of Solo/Small-Firm section of of King County Bar Association. I provide probono services to local non-profits through WA Association of Community Organizations, serve low-income clients by vounteering at various Eastside neighborhood clinics and assist homeowners in protecting their homes by volunteering at the Northwest Justice Project's Home Foreclosure Legal Aid program.

I was born and raised in New Delhi, India and currently live with my husband and two kids in Issaquah, WA. I enjoy cooking, traveling, and hiking in my free time.
