Shaswat Mohanty

Shaswat Mohanty is an entrepreneur, an avid traveller and a passionate photographer. He currently heads a Business Development wing at Punarnawa Crafts Pvt. Ltd. The mentioned company is co-founded by Shaswat which designs, manufactures, brands and markets handicraft gifting, contemporary and home furnishing items. "Each day is a challenge in entrepreneurship but each night dawns a sense of peace that none can give. And every challenge or crisis is the mother of creativity and brings the best out of us." These are some the philosophies with which Punarnawa Crafts is held high.

Previously Shaswat worked as an electrical engineer at the Bhushan Steels, where he handled the operations and maintenance. During his stint in Bhushan Steels, he realised that for any company's success, a mutually inclusive and cohesive atmoshphere is very essential among the separate units/departments.

Recently Shaswat alongwith his company was featured in the September edition of the Pool Magazine. This feature showcased his endeavours and future plans with his venture.

Shaswat also has a strong inclination towards spirituality and an active volunteer of The Art Of Living foundation. In free time he works with the Volunteer For a Better India which suggests that every citizen of our country must devote atleast an hour a day for his/her country's service.
