Hi, I’m Shā. I’m an artist, musician, librarian, administrator, father, husband, and adventurer living in Waco, Texas. I am a fan of the arts, travel, reading, photography, great danes, ponds, stones, moving water, and the beauty all around us.

I'm the Associate Dean for Research & Engagement at the Baylor University Libraries, where I also serve as the librarian for art and theatre and the curator of the Baylor Book Arts Collection. I'm also the music director at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waco.

In a recent interview, I was asked about my thoughts on creativity, and here's what I had to say:

"I believe we are all called to create, and in doing so, we reflect the divine. Whether it's through art, compassion, music, love, ideas, poetry, hospitality, or even things like well-crafted spreadsheets, emails, or conversation - this is how each of us can take part in our creative lineage."
