Shaun Hughes

I am a 41 year old married guy, living in the outer northern suburbs of Adelaide, at the gateway to the amazing Barossa Valley.

We share our house with 3 dogs, being Jessi the 12 year old Beagle, Piper the 10 year old Border Collie, and Jazz the 4 year old Border Collie.

We are registered breeders of Border Collies, with our kennel Ildanach recently having our first litter, with all pups now in their new homes.

I work full time, and am also studying full time through Open Universities, doing my primary school teaching degree.

Also a volunteer firefighter with the SA Country Fire Service, specialising in Incident Management and operational support, I find some time to support my wife with her pursuits of herding (both sheep and ducks) with the border collies, as well as Jazz starting out in the agility ring.
