My name is Shauna and I am a journalist, writer and internet junkie. I have experience across numerous topics including sexual health and education, feminist issues and startups.
My journalistic work is featured in Kinkly, Berlin Logs and Love Records.
I run my own website that looks at the importance of factual and comprehensive sex education. The site has won the Kinkly.com's 100 Top Sex Blogging Super Heros award two years in a row and in 2019 won the Readers' Choiceaward.

I think data mining and visualization are super interesting. The implications of data in journalism is a game-changer in my opinion.
In my spare time, I learned how to make data visualizations in Tableau andcreated a map of deaths along migratory routes into Europe during the refugee crisis.
In addition to my writing career, I worked in refugee camps in Berlin for six years. During this time, I worked closely with a small team designing and implementing a curriculum for children between the ages of 3-16 living in the centers.
