Hi! I am Shauna Michelle Walters. I'm a 19 year old sophomore at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. I am an aspiring pediatric nurse, current Liberty Scholar at my university, and former Penn Presbyterian Medical Center volunteer. I have partnered with several non-profit organizations to provide products and services to the people in need in the Philadelphia area. I have been a practicing violinist for nine years, choir singer for three years, and art enthusiast all my life who is interested in conducting and creating innovative ideas to better the world.

I am always looking for new ways to get involved in my community, and I highly encourage others to do the same. I have learned how to adapt to new situations and face any obstacles that may come my way by working with others under all of the clubs and organizations that I am a member of.

I am a very family oriented person. I am a first generation American and I look forward to representing my family well; I WILL PUT THE WEST INDIES, ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, AND BARBADOS ON THE MAP! My Caribbean roots correlate to my fiery spirit and ambition to do great things. I live by the words of my favorite American novelist, editor, and professor, Toni Morrison: "Make a difference about something other than yourselves."
